The Agape Clinic is located in the basement of Grace United Methodist Church, at:
4105 Junius Street
Dallas, TX 75246
To get there from UT Southwestern:
* Take Inwood Ave. eastward to the intersection of Lemon Ave. and turn Right.
* Continue on Lemon Ave going southward, passing several lights, including the intersections of Wycliff, Douglas, Oaklawn, and McKinney Ave.
* After McKinney Ave., you will continue on Lemon Ave as it curves around to the left and crosses over Hwy 75 (North Central Expressway).
* After crossing over Hwy 75, you will see a Target store on your left, you will pass the intersection of Lemon and Washington Ave, and come to the intersection of Haskell Ave.
* Turn Right onto Haskell, and continue southward passing several intersections including: Bryan, Live Oak, and Swiss Ave.
* After these streets, you will pass a Starbuck's on your Right and soon afterward will see Grace United Methodist Church on your left, and come to the intersection of Junius St.
* Take a left on Junius St. and the parking lot will be immediately to your left.
* From the parking lot you will see the back entrace of the church, and upon entering, take the flight of stairs directly in front of you down into the basement. Turn left into the hallway at the
foot of the stairs, and the entrance of the clinic will be in that hallway on your right.
Located in the basement of Grace United Methodist Church in East Dallas, the Agape Clinic has been serving patients who would not otherwise have medical care for over 20 years.
On Saturday mornings, dermatology professor Dr. Amit Pandya and several of the faculty and residents from the UT Southwestern Dermatology Department run the dermatology branch of the clinic.
Volunteers from the UTSW Derm Interest Group assist them with patient histories and physical exams, clinical notes, and many procedures.
